Public Attendance Prior to School Board Meetings (Comments to the Board)

I. Purpose

Pursuant to School Board Policy BG-0201, the purpose of this regulation is to set forth the time frames for Comments to the Board prior to School Board Meetings.

II. Time Frames

• Comments to the Board will begin at 6:30 p.m. and allow residents to share opinions with the Board prior to the official Board meeting.
• At 6:15 p.m. a sheet will be available at the meeting site for citizens to sign up to address the School Board.
• No later than five minutes before the Board meeting, the Chair or designee will close the Comments to the Board and at 7 p.m. proceed with the official School Board meeting agenda.
