EG-5152: Public Use of School Facilities

Mounds View Public Schools will allow the use of facilities beyond the regular school day with priority given to programs or activities that serve the youth of the District. The Mounds View School Board reserves the right to deny the use of its facilities for any purpose that is in conflict with policies or is not consistent with the best interests of the District.  Mounds View Public Schools reserves the right to impose fees or charges for the use of its facilities beyond the regular school day and beyond regular school activities.

Rationale: Taxpayers of the School District should have access to the facilities when not in use.  The primary daily use of the school facilities is for youth and priority should be given to youth organizations after hours as well.
