District teacher named semifinalist for Teacher of the Year
Edgewood Middle School social studies teacher Zoe Kourajian has been named a semifinalist for the 2025 Minnesota Teacher of the Year award. The program celebrates the tradition of excellence in teaching in Minnesota. An independent selection panel will review the semifinalists' portfolios over the next few weeks and narrow the list to a group of finalists. The winner will be announced May 4.
