We communicate in a wide variety of ways so that you can receive news and information that works best for you. Here are a few ways you might hear from us: 

• Email 
  • The District sends News & Views, a monthly District newsletter. This includes important updates, upcoming events and interesting stories related to our students and staff. Schools send newsletters on a regular basis. Most are weekly, but some are daily or every other week. 
  • Email will be the primary mode of contact for important/urgent news and updates, including school closures. 
  • Emails will always come from a @mvpschools.org email address. 
• Phone calls and texts 
  • The District and schools will utilize phone calls and texts to share time-sensitive updates. 
  • Schools also use phone calls and/or texts for attendance and tardy notifications.
• TalkingPoints 
  • Many of our schools and teachers are using TalkingPoints to have two-way text conversations with families. 
  • Some schools are using TalkingPoints for attendance. 
• Social media 
  • The District uses Facebook and Instagram to share interesting stories and accomplishments happening in our schools. Generally, social media should not be relied on for urgent and important updates. 
• Website news 
  • Important news and updates will be added to the news section of District and school homepages. You might also see pop-ups with important information.
